AI-Powered Site Management – Week 7: Steady Growth and the Power of AI Editing

AI Blogging & Monetization

Hello, this is Higashi-No-Kumo from AI Side Hustle Lab.

Welcome to the Week 7 update of my ongoing experiment—building and growing a side hustle blog entirely powered by AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini.

1. This Week at a Glance

  • Number of Articles: 32 (+5)

  • Total PVs: 15 (up from 4)

  • Earnings: $0

  • AdSense Status: Not applying for now; waiting on another site’s review

This week showed a clear improvement—more content, more page views, and more momentum.

2. What I Did This Week

This week focused on two main tasks: site structure optimization and content expansion.

✔ Organized the Sitemap

I reorganized the sitemap to match the new site direction I established last week.
This included:

  • Cleaning up outdated URLs

  • Confirming proper indexation

  • Ensuring every category and page has a clear purpose

A tidy sitemap helps both users and Google understand the site better.

✔ Published New Articles (5 posts!)

I finally started posting new content again—and surprisingly, it went much smoother than expected.

I had several ideas and drafts stored for months.
When I fed them into ChatGPT and Gemini:

  • They cleaned up the writing

  • Improved structure and clarity

  • Polished the tone

  • Helped finalize ready-to-publish content

As a result, I posted 5 articles in just 30 minutes after work.

This is exactly the power of AI-assisted writing—fast, efficient, and high quality.

✔ Added New Chapters to the Original Novel

I resumed posting new chapters of my original fiction series as well.
Creating and editing fiction usually takes a lot of time, but AI made the entire process much lighter.

✔ Preparing More Content for Next Week

I still have a good amount of “content stock” to work with, so I’ll continue scheduling and refining more articles.

3. Insights & Improvements

This week brought several valuable realizations:

1️⃣ AI dramatically accelerates content creation

Tasks that once took hours can now be completed in minutes.
AI helps me maintain consistency even on busy weekdays.

2️⃣ PV growth is small, but meaningful

Going from 4 PVs → 15 PVs may seem small, but it shows encouraging signs:

  • More frequent Google crawling

  • New articles being indexed

  • Internal improvements working

Small steps matter.

3️⃣ About AdSense: Pausing the application for now

Originally, I was considering reapplying for AdSense this week.
But my plans changed.

I recently launched another new website and submitted that site to AdSense instead.
However, I discovered that:

When the same user applies for AdSense with multiple sites at the same time, review times can become significantly slower.

In fact, the other site—submitted around the same time as this one’s first application—has already been under review for over two weeks with no result yet.
This delay is likely due to simultaneous applications.

I’m gradually becoming more knowledgeable about how AdSense works—both the obvious parts and the hidden mechanics.

So for now, I’ll wait for the review result of the other site.
Until it arrives, I plan to focus fully on writing more chapters for my fiction series.

4. This Week’s Takeaway

Progress doesn’t always come from big changes.
This week reminded me of the importance of:

  • Slow and steady growth

  • Consistent content creation

  • Using AI tools strategically

  • Understanding the timing of AdSense applications

AdSense approval will come eventually—but until then, I’ll turn this waiting period into a creative boost.

Thank you as always for following this journey.
Let’s continue building our AI-powered projects, week by week!
